Events and Convenings

  • Inaugural Software Growth & Investment Symposium brings together 100 of North Carolina’s leading software executives and investors for a half-day session of discussions and insights on the challenges and opportunities facing participants in the Triangle’s burgeoning tech ecosystem.
  • Black Communities Conference brings together community leaders and academics for the purpose of enhancing Black community life and furthering understanding of Black communities. The conference has a number of tracks, including business development and economic/community development.
  • Washington CREATE Policy Circles bring the latest in economic development research directly to key policymakers. Through a series of panels and workshops, these events present compelling, evidence-based ideas and engages policymakers in dialogue.
  • CREATE Roundtables bring together small groups of thought leaders to discuss and debate critical issues around economic prosperity.
