On September 11th, The Glam Boutique, owned and operated by NCGROWTH-SMARTUP’s Nicole Outlaw, hosted a Vendor Expo and Fashion Show. The event was held at Chief’s on the River in Windsor, NC (Bertie County).
The Fashion Show marked the one-year anniversary of the opening of The Glam Boutique. Parallel to the world-renowned New York Fashion Week, Nicole added her own spin and held The Glam Boutique’s version of Fashion Week which led to Saturday’s event. The Fashion Show culminated the event where models showcased apparel and accessories available at The Glam Boutique.
The event also highlighted other local, small businesses. The vendor expo was complete with twelve women-owned businesses in Bertie and surrounding communities. These businesses are 90% minority-owned.
The atmosphere was complete with branded décor provided by Family Ties & Associates, (another business within Nicole’s family) and a runway stage complete with professional lighting provided by LowKey Entertainment, a Bertie groomed business now based in Atlanta.
